EAST COAST HOLISTIC HEALTH:
- believes that patient care should be approached in a holistic manner; by understanding that individuals have spiritual, mental, social, psychological and physical needs
- believes the Canadian Health System should be guided by 1) the conditions of the Canada Health Act; and 2) the principles of Primary Health Care
- believes an interdisciplinary approach to health care delivery provides the best environment to promote wellness and meet the health care needs of the patient
Our Goals:
- Management of health care services with the goal of producing a delivery of health care which reflects the standards set by The Canada Health Act and the ideals of Primary Health Care. East Coast Holistic Health promotes an interdisciplinary approach in providing care. The development of a Health Care Centre with self-employed physicians and other health care professionals working collaboratively, will provide patients with a unique and positive opportunity to seek and receive health care to fulfill their needs.
- To provide business management services to physicians & other health care practitioners in order to facilitate a positive and stable working environment.
- To provide access to education to the client via non-traditional, but innovative use of technology via our website. The patient can access community resources, obtain information on a health topic, receive information on weekly/monthly Health Promotion Campaigns and ask questions to a Registered Nurse.
